and utterly exhausted.
the past three nights, I've gone to bed between midnight and 1:30.
the crappy part?
I've had trouble falling asleep, and then woken up four or five times each night before I got up between 8 and 9:30.
I tried falling asleep in the car ride home last night? yeah, didn't work. I just...spent an hour resting my eyes and getting more and more tired while everyone besides my father (who was driving despite having thrown out his back yesterday, because kaa-san couldn't stay awake while driving and she decided that that was a Bad Thing) slept the whole drive through.
yeah. Not Cool.
to top it off, our van has, once again, died. while we were in new jersey. it's like a curse or something. we've decided that new jersey has it in for kelly, now, because this only used to happen when we had both kelly and nen-nen.
so we had to drive home with five people, two dogs (one of which is just big enough that she can't comfortably fit in a person's lap, and spent the entire trip home kicking kelly in the side as she tried to stretch herself out a little more) and all our luggage (fortunately rosie and I shared a suitcase, so there wasn't as much as their could have been; it was also only three days worth of stuff instead of a week's worth, like the time this happened when we had kelly and nen-nen with us) in my uncle's old, small sedan.
also Not Cool.
not only that, but my headphones were, well...sucking. slightly. slightly in that I spent the entire four hour trip down listening to static as well as my music. so kaa-san bought me a new pair. I've come to the conclusion (after listening to the CD again with new headphones, and then one of kelly's and then one of mine) that it was the CD itself, and possibly slightly the the headphone connection. ch' I need a new CD player, anyway. x_x
on a lighter note, we now have eleven affiliates over at lol_tehawesome!
