boys are so complicated...one time i was driving in my car and pearl jam came on the radio, and i just listened to the words "she lies and says she's in love with him, can't find a better man." it always makes me think now. are we just telling ourselves that we like the people in our lives because we can't find anyone better? it's difficult to figure out, but it always worries me. i wish i could take a step back from my own life like i can from other peoples' lives. i wish i could give such subjective advice to myself like i give to my friends. don't get me wrong, my "love life" is actually going fine right now, but i always have that nagging thought, thanks to pearl jam.
