[Leonardo is sitting on the couch at his apartment, crossly writing something. It's on a piece of paper rather than the journal itself, so what he's working on is a mystery. He toils away in silence for several moments before he suddenly stops, chews the end of his pen, and flips the actual journal open.]

A city with such a strange name exists? What type of world do you come from, Sir?

It's called Earth. It's mostly inhabited by humans, so it's not as strange as you probably think.

[If Leo could see him, he'd have a surprised look on his face.]

You are from Earth? So then... You know of a city named Paris in the country of France?

[There's a slight, shocked pause before the turtle begins writing again.]

Yes, though I've never been there myself. Are you from Earth as well?

Yes I am. I am from the city of Paris, or rather was until now. But it makes me feel rather relieved to know others from my world are here. What country on Earth do you reside in? Perhaps I have heard of it.

The United States. My family and I live in New York.

[You can't really call them official citizens, but...]

The...United States? I'm afraid I don't know that name. Although I do know the city of New York is in the country of America.

[Sorry Leo, he's from 1849. They hadn't called it the US yet, or so the mun thinks.]

[Leo does think that's a little odd, but since Frederic manages to figure it out regardless, he lets it go.]

Yes, that's the one.

[Yeah they did call it New York where he is from, so he's happy to know someone who is from his world.]

I thought of sailing over to America when a few other fellow musicians immigrated over, but then decided against it to stay in France.

You're a musician?

Yes, a pianist and composer to be exact. I'm not certain if many in America have heard of me though.
