Forever and a Day
Woooww...So it's been at least a couple of years since I've even glanced in Livejournal. I've forgotten how much better it is then myspace and facebook because it's so much more personable. It's wild too, because most of my entries were from freshman year in High School, and the amount of change is insanity. I'm glad to say I still write, and I'm going to post my most recent poem see what you all think. It's a sonnet..hahaha, about leaving Hawaii and coming to Colorado. I seriously wonder if any of you are even still on livejournal, but I guess I'll find out!
Descending through clouds of white construction paper
Light blue eyes the color of Hawaii when she was carried away
Arrival admits a moment before the sunset dissipates into vapor
The years of floating on youth, waterfalls will always convey
Change your disposition Monster, an alter of porcelain white skin
Meant to shatter, meant to break
Find time to mold into your sunrise once again
An absence of water, leaking from eyes that only take
A survival of sunny days and misty revelations
The truth winding through tunnels in my veins
No longer watery streams but ablaze in fiery constellations
The shudder of lightening as it rains
The sun becomes fiery embers as it swiftly dies
Into mountains of fire whispering its last good-byes
