“What are you doing with the wire hanger, Chief?”
“I’m bending it into the shape of a wreath and then I’m putting candy on it for decoration, and then you use the hook to hang it up with.”
“What do you mean, putting candy on it?”
“I had to buy a giant box of baggies so I would have enough twist ties. You take the peppermint candy here, and twist tie it to the hanger. Then you use the next kind of candy, which happens to be Werther’s and you put it next to that one. You have to put them very close together, so no one sees the hanger. When you’re done, it’s a giant candy wreath. I love making them. And I know you’re going to love eating it.”
“Want me to help, Blair?”
“Yeah… Two of us working on it would be done in half the time. Wait until you see how pretty and festive it looks when it’s done.” Blair said.
“I think we should make one up for the office.” Jim suggested and Blair started to laugh.
“This one is for the office, you nut. If you’re a good boy in the bullpen, I might make you up one for the house. Now get over here and help.”
And Jim did just that.
