Making a Splash

 Dear Live-Journal,

Hello, and greetings! I'm Maxis James Whitaker. I'd let the first couple of sentences tell you about myself, but I'm sure you can find all that out from my bio. It would be much more prudent to inform you all of exactly why I'm here. I'm a soft spoken character, and while I am fun loving and active, I don't speak my mind often enough. Luckily for me, and not so lucky for all of you, my friends decided to show me this little gym of a website. Now it appears I may finally have a way to get some of my thoughts out.
First things first, let me give you all a quick update about my current status in life. I'm currently living with my mother and father, and the most recent edition to my family, my grandpa. We're currently tied up in a huge legal battle due to the circumstances of his being here. He was recently diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer's disease, and due to that, his bitch of a wife decided to leave him. She's now trying to take as many of his finances as she possibly can, which includes his home. Having nowhere else to go, he came to live with us. Taking care of him has it's ups and downs, but at the end of it, he's my grandfather and I love him.
On a more personal note, I'm currently dealing with a break up, and an over dramatic local boy. My ex-mate decided recently that, due to our long distance relationship and hectic schedules, it was better that we dropped back to remain friends. I'm perfectly ok with this, I just wish it wouldn't have coincided with the events caused by the above mentioned local boy. He attempted to crash my (then, still existing) relationship, because apparently I was "the only one for him" even though he had only known me for around a week.
Now, keep in mind that all of these incidents are occurring roughly three days apart from one another. It'd be a lie to say that I don't have a lot on my plate right now. I'm considerably stressed out, and looking forward to spending a week in Baton Rouge. I'm heading up to see a couple of local friends, and hopefully have some time to get my mind off of this. I don't know how often this is going to be updated, so if you ARE interested in what I have to say, please be patient and stay tuned.
