Joining: Hecka open Location: Yakiniku Q Time: A relaxing day in May, sometime in the early afternoon Recap: Everybody likes beef in the afternoon. Tasty!
For once, she’d finished all of her duties at her family’s flower shop earlier than usual; in other words, it meant that the entire day was free for her. No missions, no chores, no nothing!
It wasn’t long before she realized that being idle had its setbacks, of course. Standing around and doing nothing was a piece of cake, yes, but it wasn’t exactly her ideal activity on such a pleasant day. Perhaps it’d be Shikamaru’s, but she was not her teammate.
She was walking to seemingly nowhere when she became under the realization that she hadn’t seen anyone all day. Maybe - just maybe - she had caught a glimpse of the Hyuuga heiress passing the shop earlier, but she wasn’t exactly certain; where was everyone? To her, it seemed impossible that no one would be out on a warm afternoon like this one.
She’d been walking down the streets for quite some time before she caught the back of a certain brunette’s head disappearing behind the Yakiniku Q’s main door. Was that Tenten? Deciding it was better to find out for herself instead of just wondering, she followed, only to come across Hinata, Shino, and Chouji (along with the weapons specialist) situated at a nearby table.
Without asking, she moved quickly, sitting herself down beside Shino and waving to everyone. Never mind the fact that she hadn’t brought money along with her; she was positive someone would offer to pay for her!
“Hey,” she spoke a bit breathlessly, a mischievous grin on her face. “No one told me we were having a party here.”
"It looks great," Hinata agreed, had been about to take her seat next to her team mate when Ino barged on in. Instead, she stood there at the end of the table, looking awkward, and not wanting to point out to Ino that she'd been somewhat rude. She doubted Ino would move if she did.
"W-well..." She started to say that it wasnt an offical party, but wound up mumbling an apology that she'd not been invited.
Chouji looked like he was about to answer her previous question when Ino suddenly appeared by Shino's side, taking the seat that had been meant for Hinata. Wow, she's fast. Taking pity on the young Hyuuga heiress, and also because of the simple fact that Neji would go mental if she was late getting back, Tenten stood up from her seat (even though she just sat down).
"You can have my seat, Hinata," the older kunoichi offered, "I'm not staying long anyways remember?" Which reminds me, I should be leaving soon. "Oh, Chouji!" Reaching into her pocket with her free hand, she pulled out a piece of paper, stamped and printed with professional ink, "I meant to give you this last week for your birthday but I was busy. It's still valid so I hope you enjoy it." Only Chouji could fully appreciate a coupon for a free plate of Yakiniku Q's finest dish.
