Thus Spake The Night Spirit

It's been nearly a year and half or so since I was last in a real deal band, and up to that point I'd spent four years straight in Anti-Tracy. Since that band's last show, I've been struggling to get something serious going again and I always knew I wanted it to be a total 180 from what I'd been doing in that band. Within the last few years, I'd been getting really into all areas of the most brutal metal I could possibly find: grindcore, black metal, death metal, gothic metal, darkwave, doom metal, sludge, etc. and had been storing away some darker lyrics for metal songs I'd been writing in my head.

Recently, I ran into my friend Anthony downtown at the pool hall and we'd struck up a conversation about wanting really badly to be in bands and this lead us to talks of starting one up together. On monday, we got together for my cousin Matt's birthday, and Anthony asked me if I felt up to jamming later that night. At first, it was going to be just me on guitar and him on drums but after a bit of talking we wound up at Chris' house set up in this tiny ass bedroom with me on vocals, matt on guitar and anthony on drums. I really impressed myself at my ability to hit alot of low death growls and some of the highter black metal shrieks, and with Matt playing some simple downtuned riffs against Anthony's equal parts jazz and grind core style of drumming we decided that this was a band being born. We're still not set on a name, but we hope to practice like fucking mad over the next few weeks, get some songs written and go out and play some shows around Iredell County and elsewhere. Here are some names I've been thinking about:

Dr. Dmitri Kevorkian and The Vampire Kids

Kevorkian

Gacy

Fulci

Chaos By Design

Argento

I'm not paticularly happy with any of these, so no name has really been set. It needs to be something good that sticks in your head and is somewhat over the top, but not typical. Any suggestions?
