Ladies and gents, boys and transvestites.....at exactly 7:50 am(that's Colorado time), I became an uncle! Stella Jackins was born through a c section to my brother Andy and his wife Paige. This is what I woke up to this morning, more days should start off with good news such as this. I've been snowed in since sunday and school has been cancelled the last three days, and ooooooooooooooh how I love cabin fever. It hasn't been all that bad though, just spent the time talking to Val, reading, and playing video games(the atari disc for my sister's boyfriend's ps2 as well as Sims for my computer). The other night, when Val called me we discovered we both really like this band Butt Trumpet(who no one else seems to know about that I've met personally, but they're the band that gave birth to Betty Blowtorch, who were a bit more popular)so, of course, I've been obsessing over all thing BT related for several days. I found a way to get a copy of their unreleased second album and am getting a copy burned for myself and for her. Anyone who doesn't know them should check them out, their one released album is out of print but once in a while can be found on used cd sites and such and I'm sure kazaa and the like have alot of their songs. You can't go wrong with a band with member names like Bianca Butthole, Sharon Needles and Blare N. Bitch, and hey, they had two bass players. Betty Blowtorch are pretty badass, too, if you like stuff like L7 and the like definitely check them out. I'm off to Manifest this weekend and possibly next as well for a last hurrah, and at a perfect time. I need some music that rocks, any suggestions for some all out just fucking no bullshit rock bands, anyone?

I smoke cigarettes, but it seems that cigars are the new, hip thing. I never really got into it, because I never had a brand I liked but the other day I found my favorite cigars called itsaboys.
