I wrote the chair of the language deparment at K, Dr. Janet Solberg, what could be desribed as a "witty response". She wrote me back, in earnest: "you are funny--I like the attitude".

See, my problem has never been getting the prof to like me, (well, when I go to class anyways) it's been getting them to give me a good grade.
