Don't Bother
There's been like... a weekend long What Not To Wear marathon on TLC. There's always something to watch. It's brilliant really.
Pretty nice weekend. On Friday night I went to dinner and to go see Superbad, which was pretty funny. The theatre was packed with people, all of whom were very responsive, so that was bomb. It's cool sometimes to go to a theatre and have no one there, but it's awesome to have that collective experience. Hanging out with Ashley was very cool as well. I'm going to miss her so much. Hopefully I can talk her into coming to visit me in Toronto or something. We're probably going to go out Tuesday night with Amber. My last hurrah for this summer really.
Last night I went to dinner theatre with Mum, Dave, Grampy and Dorothy. It was nice, the music was all east coast business. I liked it. I like Great Big Sea and Anne Murray, all that. My grampy got pulled up on stage, like every single dinner theatre we've ever gone to. Not even joking. He's like a stage-humiliation magnet. It's phenomenal. He's done some pretty crazy things. Last night he showed off his legs. I was sitting there crying into my napkin because I was laughing so hard. I will miss his 81-year old antics.
Today was an uneventful Sunday. Just went out to lunch. I would have liked to do a bit more, but no matter, sometimes you have to take what you get.
