Okay so Tammy and Ian now know that I'm going to be asking for a leave of absense in September. They were both okay with it - Ian thinks it's a great idea and Tammy was really supportive, congratulated me and told me just to keep her updated on everything. I was actually dreading telling her.
Mark says I still need to get the leave okayed with Patrick (our new store manager), but he doesn't think it will be problem since I'm taking this program with the intention of staying in the company.
I still need to figure out what happens with my wages and such. I mean, this leave is classified similar to a mat leave, so I'm starting to think that I'll still draw a salary albeit not the same amount I'm making now.
