It tastes like steel (but looks like rust)..

This little vampire gave me Choke, a novel by Chuck Palahniuk. How I've been waiting to get my hands on that book.
Yes.
Chuck.
Palahniuk.
Choke.
Chuck. Choke.

You know that feeling where everything is happening too fast in a whirlwind? That feeling where you're on spin-cycle and can't seem to fix the damn 'stop' button? I've been on spin for the last 37 days, or so it feels. When the hell is the cycle gonna stop?
Guess you can say I kinda feel like complaining, but it's not so much that. Just feeling a little out of it, out in the middle of nowhere -- in my own mind.

I believe I've finally begun to see that psychological relationships are horrible. They seem to only lead to fear and eventually pain. Which only leads to knowledge of the fact that there are certain things that should not be thought about, yet then again in yoru heart of hearts, it they should be. Does teh word 'complex' mean anything to you?

For anyone out there who still believes in hope, hope is the devil. The very word 'hope' suggests a negative possiblity that will "hopefully" be overcome. However, the consideration and recognition of the negative possiblity will lead to that possiblity happening inevitably. Hope is a tiny hole you can jump into when you're worried and you (don't want to, but) will fuck yourself over in. Again and again. In every situation, hope will always be there for you to escape to. Don't do it. Fuck hope. Attack whatever situation you're in with full confidence.
I mean, come on.. full confidence is a lot less dramatic and elated than it sounds.

Earlier today, a scene surfaced my thoughts. Its been in my thoughts before, and it arose again today. Imagining how people in today's world, namely America, as so concerned about number one-self that they seem to forget who they are and where they come from. In doing so, they age. As they age, as do their parents. As their parents age, their parents eventually lose the ability to care for themselves. So what do these materialistic-driven, workaholic, me-me-me decide to do?
"Honey, I think we should just put them in a nursing home."
Those poor, innocent (yes innocent) elders. Probably looking at people among them; the ill silent, the crazies, grandfathers and mothers who have already lost their minds. They must feel utterly alone.

What else is new?
