Yes, we all know it's VERY hot and muggy (nearly 100 F. here today) pretty much across the whole country today, so, nuff said about that...
I sent out a half-dozen CD packages - with 'thank you' notes - to some of the special friends who came to my old band reunion up in NY. It meant so much to me that they showed up and cheered us on. On the CDs were included about a dozen songs I've written or co-written over the past several years, things they probably would not have heard before.
Now that I'm back from vacation, I will be working on two creative fronts simultaneously - my music and the novel I started last year. Now right brain and left - both the fluid and emotional and the more linear and narrative-logical - can be more vigorously engaged. Yep. *grins*
