My good friend kessadebra wanted me to pass along this little tidbit. As her husband manages a movie theater, she's well aware that managers don't make bonuses on ticket sales, they make them on concessions. Why does this matter to us? Because if we want more special previews of this kind to happen in town, it helps if the managers of the theater think well of us geeks and our ability to spend lots of money to scarf down their popcorn and junk. We want them to think it was worth their trouble to throw this little thing. Even if you normally sneak in a box of Junior Mints or a bottle of pop, consider dropping a few extra bucks to buy something from the theater this time.
