I would have to agree...and I have a three year old. All the parents I meet who say, 'yeah, I've been awake with the kid since 6:00am'...What? Tell them to go back to sleep...make them play quietly in their room til a reasonable hour. 8am is our wake up time....no matter what....she can get out of bed and play in her room if she wakes up at 7am. She does try to get me out of bed sometimes, but she knows 8am is wake up time and there is no arguing it....though once it's 8:00 by the clock, I have no recourse. :-)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: there are many reasons I don't want kids. This is just one of them.
