UGA Housing finally got their shit together yesterday. I saw on OASIS that me and Chris are going to be roommates this year at UGA. The 2005-2006 school year is going to be much more enjoyable with Chris as a roommate as opposed to the one I had last year!
I am counting down the days until Laura gets back from Paris. *Sigh, I'm ready to bounce off the damn walls I miss her so much. She's been gone this whole damn summer and I've gotten to see her a good two or three days over the last couple of months. I finally got to talk to her last Saturday. She sounded like she's having a world of fun, which is great. She told me that the wine over there is still cheaper than Coke! Yesterday was our 11-month. Jesus, in less than a month we'll have been together for a year. That's twice as long as my previous longest relationship, which was in 6th grade. A whole year...that's a good fraction of my life.
Been working with Royce and Jamie on one of my dad's co-workers' house. We've been there since Thursday of last week, and we will be finishing tomorrow. I pressure-washed the whole house by myself last week. I think Royce and Jamie just wanted to see me up on that 40-foot ladder while trying to operate a 3000 psi squirt gun! Other than that, all we've really had to do to the house is paint the siding on the back side of the house and the trim on all the sides. Man, I had no idea how much the heat slows you down. We've all become lethargic while working and it sucks a$$.
Anyway...UGA in less than a month...hell of a lot of friends will be there. Chris, Jason, Mac, Kaylin...I can't wait.
