I've been listening to Tegan And Sarah lately, and damn is it fucking good. I decided to start listening to them after I found out they're playing at the Beck's Verandah next year. I'll definitely be going to see them if they turn out to be as brilliant as The Black Keys were. Plus, I've started to get a major interest (read: Andy finds it hot) in all female bands and singers. Especially Sleater-Kinney.
I saw this morning at the cinema that they give people who use cinema advertising something like $2 entry for tickets! I'm going to create an advertising campaign for myself so I can get these $2 tickets. Genius! What am I good for though? The answer? Everything!
I sent Sex: The Annabel Chong Story back to Bigpond Movies the other day. In the mail this morning I receive The Girl Next Door. I'm hoping the people at Bigpond Movies don't think I'm into porn doco's or something. I mean, I have no desire to see Inside Deep Throat but I'm guessing that as soon as that's on DVD I'll get that in the mail too. I am glad I'm getting it in the mail though and not going to the counter of a video store and hiring it out that way.
I got The Decemberist's Picaresque on vinyl in the mail this morning. Bliss! But, I can't listen to it though because it's a limited edition of 500 copies coloured vinyl, so if I open it, then all collectible value disappears. I am dying to hear it though. There's an extra five songs on it that aren't on the CD version. Awesome! I bet it smells real nice too.
