I have a new job. I'm now going to be doing part time photography at my
mum's school in the drama section. I already did an impromptu job the
other week where I was called up and went in to take some of the worst
photo's I've ever taken. Granted, the teacher hasn't seen the photo's
yet and could easily retract her job offer when she sees them, but I
hope not.
I tried taking daylight photo's the other day, but not just daylight
photo's, close up photo's of bee's in roses and so forth. The battery
died half way through the shoot - hah, see, I'm such a grand
photographer now that I use the right terminology (although I nearly
said dialogue) - so I couldn't get any great shots and compare on the
computer. Hopefully during the week I can give it another go and get
some better photo's. I'm getting the hang of it, it's just knowing what
to take photo's of and what not to. What looks appealing, and what
doesn't. It's all a matter of practice I guess.
And then photoshop... man... that's an issue and a half.

I really do wonder how somebody would be able to guess my password. It is very unique, and pathetic. Only Live Journal knows. Maybe they're taunting me by saying, we know what your unique and pathetic password is, change it so we'll still know what it is. We won't do anything with it though.
This is kick ass:
Jean-Pierre Jeunet ("Amelie", "Alien Resurrection") is set to direct Fox 2000's adaptation of the Man Booker Prize-winning Yann Martel novel "Life of Pi" reports Variety.
The story follows a 16-year-old boy's voyage from India to Canada, a trip that begins on a freighter carrying animals his father is transporting from the zoo. The ship sinks and the boy is the sole human survivor, sharing a lifeboat with a hyena, an injured zebra and a hungry tiger.
M. Night Shyamalan was given the assignment to helm the adaptation early on, only to exit because he wanted to make "Lady in the Water" first and the studio didn't want to wait. Alfonso Cuaron was next attached, but he opted to direct "Children of Men".
Jeunet and Guillaume Laurant have just begun writing with the hope of beginning production next summer. Jeunet already has been shown the Fox studio in Baja that houses the giant tank used in "Titanic" which has a strong possibility to host most of the shoot, the rest in India and other locations.
