Carnival 2012 Achievement Unlocked
Kayleigh and I had a great time in Pittsburgh this weekend for Carnival 2012. The whole gang was there, and despite a few hiccups in finding restaurants 10 of us could agree on at a time, we all enjoyed ourselves. Roaming around campus, snagging free food, seeing the not-as-awesome Midway, plenty of fun group gameage, and Kayleigh finally getting to meet the remainder of the Group Housing Plus clan.
For Greg's enlightenment: Nertz was previously projected to reach my 25th play during March 2027. Now, after one more play, it's projected to reach the quarter mark on May 29th of this year. How did this happen? Well, my plays of this were on Dec 10 2010, Dec 11 2010, and April 21 2012. I calculate the median time between plays (and between the last play and the day I run the program) and use that to project how long it takes. The play intervals are now 1 day, over a year, and 2 days, giving a median of 2 days. So, I changed it to calculating the mean, and it's now scheduled for year 2021. Let's make sure we're still finding at least one time a year to hang out in 9 years.
