Hugh Jackman is officially one of my favorite people ever. I called my mom a little while ago and the first thing we both said was some sort of garbled "OMG! HUGH JACKMAN!" gushy thing. And neither of us tend to gush or garble. That's just the power of Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman is one hell of an actor. And I'm not saying that just because I'm an Aussie. What most people forget (or don't even realise) with all the Broadway and blockbuster stuff he does is that he is also very, very good at scary - I mean mindfuckery, psychological scary as well as physical intimidation. He had a role like that in Australia that was one of his big breaks into TV and film. (And it's also the role where he met his wife.)
