Apparently pornish_pixies was suspended today. As was sbrb_blackcest according to my profile. And we had daily_deviant deleted by the owner before it could be suspended.
I'm still trying to figure out what's going on, but can we say a fandom kefuffle right now?
And, I could see LJ possibly deleting comms, but do you really think they'd go as far as to delete users' personal journals? I'm still going to back up at the very least my fics...but I'm just confused as to why LJ would do something like this to people with no warning.
Can we say that this is ridiculous? I looked at my profile easlier and didn't even realize that pornish_pixies was deleted. Wow. I've looked through my info and it doesn't seem like I have anything bad in there.

Check the LJs of catrinella, liz-marcs (who has the most info), and really... most of my flist right now.
As of right now, a bunch of communities, including porninsh_pixies have been suspended for TOS violations.
Quick question, how do you lock down specific posts in a community? At slashfest, I need to lock down nearly two pages worth of links to fics that deal with the stuff they're looking for but it won't let me do it besides deleting the entire post together and buying a paid account for the community is something I'm not keen on doing but it can be a last resort I guess if worst comes to worst...which it seems to be but I am keeping my hopes up.
I don't know if this: http://www.livejournal.com/editprivacy.bml will work for the community or not. I know there's issues in locking posts to a community that you personally didn't post. This is from about six months ago, but we mods needed to lock down things from the Leaky and have had to deep it deleted as we have no way of locking it down.
The only other thing I can think of to try is to see if you can back up those pages, delete for the time being and go back later and repost them locked. Those are my only two pieces of advice.
Exactly. I'm thinking about possibly contacting the authors these fics but it would be such a hassle for them seeing as it's close to two dozen authors, some of which aren't even apart of slashfest anymore.
