Well -- as of yesterday, Fiddler has officially closed. I'm still hanging around the theatre as one of the women in the cast is letting me shadow her so I can learn to assistant direct (with grad school not going as I had hoped, I figure my best bet is to learn as MANY different aspects of theatre as humanly possible).
All I can say is that it's been a very hellish two weeks. I'm sorry to see the show close, but I'm also very VERY happy to leave a lot of the stress behind. It wasn't the show that was bad, it was the internal drama and stuff that's, actually, rather unusual but was absolutely horrible. It almost puts fandom drama to shame.
I guess that's what you get with thespians.
There IS a bit of good news -- especially surrounding the Thesis That Will Not Die. I have permission from the head of the department to cut out two chapters and jump right to the conclusion. This... is absolutely amazing news. Talk about relieving stress.
*HUGS* I just want to thank everyone for their support and just everything as I've been struggling to get through these past couple of weeks. I couldn't do it without you. ♥
