Weekend! Huzzah!
Because I have a lot for one teeny entry, I'll do what the cool kids do and number my list. *g*
1. Survived my first week back at school after break. I could say JUST how many days there are until I graduate, but a daily countdown might show just how anxious I am to get out of here -- especially when I still have a CRAP load of work to do (Thesis; German Paper; Orchestration... SHOOT me).
2. Had a VERY brilliant day yesterday. The postings for who made it into the Bach Festival Orchestra went up and my name wasn't on there. *pause* see me cry and wail. Would have helped if I may have tried to get in. In other words, I have my nights back. I'm happy. I can deal with 45 minutes of orchestra. XD
3. This morning sucked. Set TWO alarms so I'd have a backup in case anything happened. Neither one went off. See me NOT in German right now. *headdesk*
4. Today will get better -- avengangle is coming into town today *dance* And staying the night and then will be my date to con formal tomorrow night. *G* At least there will be ONE bit of fun there. *mutters about having more fun playing cards last year with Alex, Alexis and Sam*
5. Rehearsal with accompanist today for my recital. EEEP. I just realised THAT is in two weeks. Again, I reiterate: EEEEEEP!
6. Need to remind self to post the fics I did for Valensmut and Loveletters -- as I already forgot to post the ones from Smutmas and HarryHolidays.
