I’ve been to a place so cold, it steals your soul. It takes more than hope, it takes its toll. Where the fine line begins and heroes end, where the naysayers pray and the innocent sin. Where night conquers day and fortunes fade, where the land sharks stay and hurt won’t go way. Where trouble sets in and you can’t get out ‘cause there’s so much fear and doubt. I’ve been beat up and broken down and I’ve been there a thousand times. I may have walked through the worst in hell, my friend, and we all got our reasons why. Should I show you me? All we need is a little bit of momentum to break down these walls that we’ve built around ourselves. All we need is a little bit of inertia to break down and tell.

Well, what starts out as a warm breeze turns into something more. Like the lighting that burns down houses or the wind that blows down doors. Oh, I see it in the distance, it moves much faster than I think. Yes, this storm will wreck much havoc, bring my sanity to the brink. Once I was so young and careless, never strayed much from the path. Now I find myself in trouble, never knowing when to laugh. And as my eyes sink in my skull, I am wired to the max. Gonna pull myself together; you can see I’m coming back. And the storm is coming, the storm is coming. It’s gonna make a beautiful sound. I hope it turns your life upside down.
