LONG WEEEKEND....or not
i've had 5 days off school!!!!! hahaha... and four days in a tent in paradise meadows which as it turns out is a very very very very VERY ironic name. *grimice* We trucked HUGE x 235978250862 packs around on our shoulders...because you know you need to have the WORLD with you when you go out into the middle of nowhere. Oh did I mention I did all this on skis...or on my ass...cause skis are tricky little buggers.and um our guide handed us a map and said "ok pretend I'm not here GO!!" cause you knwo that was a good idea and all. lol we made it like 12km over four days as the crow flies but we prolly walked three or four times that cause all the lake and rivers were no longer frozen over. and um did i mention i did all this WILLINGLY?!?!?!? i need my head checked.
Actually in all honesty it wasnt too bad...kinda fun actually once you got over the fact your ass was NEVER EVER gunna dry and that it was un-likely you were going to sleep properly in a glorified sleeping bag of a tent on the snow.
I got home yesterday at four o'clock and SHOWERED..it felt sooooooooooo goood. Then
Andrew and I got all pathetic and drove over to the school to meet David and Allie when they came back from the're trips. We thought we were being sooo black-ops and sneeeeaky but then they just ignored us when we got there...at least for a while.*grin* It was sooooo good to see David again. ILOVEYOU.
I missed everybody soooooooooooooo much. It was silly stupid. I cant wait to see you folks tomorrow...at *shudder* school.
but rite now i have chocolate covered STRAWBERRIEs and a good book so i am going to go indulge in both :)
