That I have to admit, I am "Over thinking" things.
I am sharing a single room of the trailer again. However we are bringing two cars, so the potential for "Too much Stuff" is admittedly very very high.
Plans at this point include a Bed, on a raised platform, so there is space under for totes and stuff.
I had this idea, two sheets, cut to fit the lengthy and width of the narrow part of my Saturn Trunk (seat backs removed, flat on trunk floor, all the way to back of front seats. Make a "Z" shaped frame, holds the thing rigid, lag bolts for each of 5 posts, cut holes into 2x4's, through sheet wood, bore 4inch bolts through the ply, 2x4's and into 5 cut to fit posts.
Measure, cut (in my head), measure again...
Could not work the thing out.
Called a friend, who made one of these things years ago.
"Silly. Cut a single sheet of 3/4 inch ply. Right down the middle. Cut off corners, so they don't bite you one, in the middle of the night.
*** 9 Posts **** each the height of your tallest tote.
(blink? Nine?)
Sure. 3 posts against wall.
3 posts down the middle, (edge of two pieces of plywood, resting on each of 4x4 posts)
3 posts down outer edge of second sheet of plywood.
(duH!)
assembly time, with 3" drywall screws, about 5 minutes. No measurements except paying OSH to cut each 4x4 to length, and rip the center of the 4x8 sheet of ply, and cut off the ends and corners.
Overthinking.
