So, we lost the first goat this year, and hopefully the last. Our yearling had an misscarriage and lost her kid. Sigh, it was a rough day yesterday until we got the phone call from the vets and got everything figured out.
So, I totally agree with TJ, I'm looking forward to singles awareness day on Monday. However, I will be working until 8 but am available to celebrate afterwards.
This seems to be the weekend of meetings. However the one I drove to Bridgewater this morning for was cancelled....I had no idea until I got there and saw the empty parking lot.
I'm working on some scholarship essays....WHY ARE THEY ALL 1000 WORDS???? I have a to-do list this weekend as long as my freakin arm. I think I've convinced mom to go for a ski with me later on today, I'm hoping the snow sticks around for a little bit so I can buy new skis and actually be able to use them.
If you've never eaten an artichoke, you need to try one. They're great, I bought one last night and I just finished it. With melted butter they're amazing. And I found a good combination. I can't stand the taste of wine for some reason so I mixed it with cranberry-raspberry juice. It was good.
Well, I'm going to get back to those essays and possibly some skiing.
