I have the next chapter of Bird's Bone in front of me and I'm gonna post that sucker tonight come hell or high water.  I'd like to get a quick second opinion before then, if possible.  Anyone sitting out there, bored with the rant meme, willing to while away some time with me?  (What's the emoticon for puppy-dog eyes?)

I would love to have your opinion, even if you don't have time tonight. It's about 3,000 words, so it's shorter than the last chapter, but still fairly long.
