(no subject)
So yesterday, I got Fall's awesome new gun and posted a photoshoot over on DoA. (And then it was moved from the regular Gallery to the Photostory gallery, sob. T_T) Anyways, I took pics of just the gun yesterday too, and I'mma post them now! O: It's so awesome. XD
This is everything it came with - one loose bullet, clip with bullet showing, gun with moveable slide and squeezable trigger, and detachable "tactical light".
When the clip is in place and the slide is back, you can see the bullet from the clip!
Just the gun all put together.
Light in place - I like it, but probably won't really use it.

So, this is made by Dragon Models. As pris84 pointed out, they have their own website. If you go to the Dragon Models 1/3 military category, you'll see a bunch of SD sized guns. Several of them are kits, where you assemble and paint them, but I was lazy and bought the pre-assembled G-17 w/ Tactical Light. I'm glad I did, 'cause it's so cool! And I'm extra super glad that it fit into Fall's hand as well as it did. I was worried I'd have to rubber band it in place, or steal Sally's Williams gun hand, or something. :U
I bought my gun from Amazon rather than the website, and when I was searching for "1/3 gun" I was surprised at all the low ratings the 1/3 stuff was getting! I was worried that they weren't good quality or something, 'cause it's kinda hard to find good 1/3 scale things, you know? I didn't want a too-small gun for Fall, he's got those big ol' SD17 hands.
However, when I actually read the 1 & 2 star reviews, they were all written by idiots who can't read and don't know what 1/3 scale is. They were all, "It was so SMALL! My kid is so upset! It looked big in the picture!" and other blah blah blah, "I'm an illiterate idiot" types of whining. (I'm especially unsympathetic towards this type of thing because I got my first neutral rating EVER on eBay from some bitch who bought a purse from me and left feedback saying, "oh it was nice, but smaller than I thought" when the listing said SMALL and the description said SMALL and it was in the SMALL BAG category and I had the dimensions listed. >:[ /rant)
Anyways, the gun is awesome, and I'm so glad my yakuza boy finally has his piece. Now he can really protect his Ichi well! ;D (I still need a shoulder harness, though. T_T)
