The Collection Agent
So, I took this photo for the DoA "Almost Human" contest a little over a week ago. I wasn't expecting to win or anything, or even get any votes for my picture. In fact, I didn't even vote for myself. :U But, since the results are out now, I figured I could go ahead and post this here. (I did post it to my DA account last night, so if you watch me there, you might've already seen it.)
Anyways, I'd had an idea for the contest after it was first announced, but it would've required me sticking a dollie out in the rain. And then it didn't rain for a while. And then when it did, I didn't think about it, and simply lazed about inside my apartment instead. So then I had another idea, but couldn't figure out how to make it work, so I came up with this at the last minute, and submitted it only a couple hours before the deadline for the contest. I think I probably should've had another light, to silhouette Ty a bit better, since that might've made the picture a little more appealing to the voters, but honestly, I think it looks better like this. This would've been a lot cooler if I'd taken it in an alleyway or something though, but alas, I have no easily accessible alleyways at my disposal. Plus, it's summertime, and who wants to sweat and swear over trying to pose dollies in the muggy Florida heat? ;P
For the picture, I dressed Ty up in a combination of Sy's & Andres' clothes, and put Graeves' wig on him. Laertes, our poor victim (or delinquent borrower, rather), I just put in a fur wig and one of his more casual outfits. I do wish I'd gotten the shirt grab a little more realistic, but it was hard enough to get it to look the way it does. x_x; Yay for fist hands, though! I put a little bit of fake blood on Ty's knuckles, and dribbling down out of Laertes' mouth, also. You can kinda see it here, but it wasn't very noticeable in the scaled down version I had to submit for the contest. Boo on 600px maximum! ;P
And now, I should probably get on my daily work. :< Boo! I'd rather procrastinate! XB
