Temple & eyes
So, Temple's eye color had been bugging me since I got him his Paraiso fur wig. For some reason, they just seemed too "cold" to me, especially since Temple's supposed to be a fun-loving, easy-going guy. Temple was pretty much an impulse purchase when I got him, and I never ordered him eyes specifically for him, but rather used some that I'd had on hand. They didn't look too bad with the temporary wig he was using right after I got him, and while they photographed pretty nicely with the fur wig, I didn't like them very much in person. :(
Well, I've recently bought a few pairs of eyes from the DoA marketplace, and the first pair came in today. I'm not so sure how they look in pictures (I probably need to do some more adjustments with them anyways, since my eye putty was being a bitch) but I like them in person a lot more.
The eyes he was wearing were 16mm, and these are 18mm.
The irises also don't match, but I don't really mind that.
Well, these pics aren't the best, as I took them with lamps. Normally, my incandescent white balance setting is great for lamp photos, but when I set up my lamps, I realized that somehow, both of the lightbulbs had blown since the last time I used them! So I hunted down some more bulbs, which were much yellower than the ones I had been using. x_x I tried to fix the color in Photoshop some, but alas, I'm not a Photoshop whiz. :(
Anyways, these eyes are kinda weird. They're a light brownish color with strange swirlies of red in them. The red is not symmetrical, but I think they look kinda cool like that. I dunno, I like them. :P I'll have to see what I think when I can take pics in daylight, and maybe reposition his eyes a bit.
Here's an older photo of him with the other eyes, btw. I think this photo actually makes him look better, but I really just didn't like how he looked in person with them. :(

Anyways, I'm sure little Arch will like the new look fine. And if I get tired of them, I *do* have more eyes on the way, so we'll see! ^_^
