Eye woes
Ok, I know I said I'd post a pic as "visual aid" to go along with yesterday's bjd-fic, but I just got my SMJ package in and wanted to try out some new eyes in Leonidas first. I'm not sure if I want to leave them in or not, actually. I like the Hitomiyas A LOT better than the HGs he was wearing, but they're slightly smaller, and I think he really needs 18/10mm eyes. :\ The Hitomiyas are 17mm which I know isn't a ton smaller than the 18mm HG, but the iris seems significantly smaller to me. Augh, I need some nice 18mm purple eyes! I guess it's time to add more deposit/bid limit to my SMJ account. T_T
So, yes/no on the new eyes? (Similar angle example of the HGs.) I know it's not the best photo for being able to decide, and I did Photoshop it a little, but still. I think they may indeed be too small. *sigh*
Well, I'll adjust them a little more, as the dome of the eyes are slightly off-center (though the eyes are identical to each other) and I'm not 100% sure I have them even with each other right now. They kept slipping around while I was trying to place them. Why are eyes such a pain? D:
(PS - Check it out: you can kinda see Leonidas' little Sakaki teeth in this photo. Yes, he has teefs! X3 Unfortunately, Ms. Ohno did not see fit to paint them white. T_T If I wasn't afraid of fucking him up, I'd try to do it myself, but alas. I can't paint. :U)
