Just a quickie shot...
Re: the LJ drama. No, I'm not leaving LJ. No, I'm not joining another site to hang out with the people who are leaving. If you do leave, and make a feed, I'll most likely watch it, though to be honest, I don't like commenting on regular blogs like I do on LJ. I like the email notifications, I like the friending & privacy structures, and I'm good and settled in here with my permanent account. I'll miss the people who leave, but I won't be following after you, sorry.
Also, someone commented on DoA saying that the NY Dolpa will be on Sat/Sun., the 7th-8th rather than Fri/Sat the 6th-7th. Because people bitched about having to leave early on Sunday last time they'd made it for Fri/Sat, but now people are bitching about not being able to take off to get there on Friday so they've changed it back to Sat/Sun. You know, I think people bitch too much. I'd rather have concrete dates and plans and figure a way to work my schedule around it than trying to whine until the company changes things to *my* way. Bullying Volks into changing things just makes it annoying for the rest of us who aren't acting like snotty entitlement whores.
