Nearing the Target -- One Last Call for Donations
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to post to say that ksumnersmith and I are are currently 82% of the way to our City Chase goal -- to raise $2,500 for charity Right to Play .
All we need to do is raise $500 more (although more than that would be awesome!) to reach our goal. So, here's my plea: Consider making a donation to Right to Play.
As a writer, I want every child to have the opportunity to live their dreams. Here's a charity out there doing just that. Sure, people need food, water, shelter...but what is life without the chance to play? To create? To realize an endless world of possibilities?
Even $10 will go one-fifth of the way toward giving a child in the developing world a chance to take part in a sport and/or play program for an entire year.

A week ago, Karina and I didn't think we had a hope in heck of meeting our goal. Now, we are almost there.
If we make our goal, we'll post pictures...we'll even write up a story of our rappel down Toronto's City Hall. I am sure it will be a story of facing fears, the power of teamwork, and the exhilaration of knowing we can do anything.
We can do this. Together.
