It is an unremarkable Thursday afternoon. Cold, as it always is at this time of year, and particularly grim with the passing haze of rain that coats the sandstone walls of the Sanctuary. Everyone has been on high alert of a Cabal attack for months but the feeling of impending doom has worn off enough that the residents have lowered their guard.
The Cabal have waited for this - and now they're coming.
They don't just want this decayed building in the middle of Old City - they want the whole Sanctuary network. Once the sun settles behind the hills, they will begin.
