I've commented on the breakdown of society, of community. We've got no vested interest in each other anymore.
And while I think the shooter was clearly off his rocker. One has to wonder, if we had more vested community, where one would care enough to say "Hey bro, you got a booger hanging out your nose." Would things be different?
