Things haven't been what they should have been, but they have certainly been well enough. It is so fantastic to feel truly happy on this day. Thank you for being patient, and understanding through it all. Nothing I can say will express exactly what I feel, but something must be said because love is a funny thing...and I can honestly say that I don't understand a fucking thing about it. Even though it sometimes requires much of my emotions, I find it difficult to turn away. Who says love shouldn't hurt? I don't think it should, but it certainly does. It hurts to hold nothing back for the sake of doing what is right...it hurts to see you, and hear you in pain. It hurts to know that you want things I can't yet provide. I know how dramatically dreadful I can be, and for that I am truly sorry. I don't really think our relationship can see problems that penetrate as deeply as the ones we've weathered together, and that provides me with exactly what I need most of. Hope. Hopefully you feel the same.
