My books.

Three-day holiday weekends blow because the buses don't run. I'm stuck at home or stuck in town waiting for rides, and my three favorite places (the post office, library, and bank) are closed.  Plus, I've had to work Friday, Saturday, baby-sat for seven hours on Sunday, and work today, so nothing's good. Which reminds me of the difference between the East and West coast, if I haven't already told this to everyone:

On the West Coast, everything is good and nothing matters. On the East Coast, nothing is good and everything matters. I fall into the second camp of it, so, so hard.

Here's my first meme-thing. I packed up a bunch of books and sent them to my secret underground lair [read: parents' basement] before i moved from the beach cabin into my new living situation, so I'm left with just the essential books and recent acquisitions, all lined up in a pretty row. They are, from left to right:
