So not much has happened lately. I spent Monday and Tuesday evening writing my paper. I ended up writing about the Decembrist revolt (thanks for the suggestion though, Amanda!). It wasn’t an awful paper, I’ve definitely become adept at writing a lot of crap/not crap after being at Colgate. But no one really knows what our ‘professor’ is looking for. He’s really this semi-famous historian/writer/global studies guy.
Oh, I had a funny dream the other day. I don’t remember too much now, but I remember that Abby (and Adam!) and Adrienne were in it. Abby, Adam kept winning two dollars and eighty-seven cents in some lottery/scratch off thing, he used the two dollars do to laundry, and then you were complaining because he kept sending you the 87 cents by email. (yeah, I know!)
And then I dreamed that Adrienne let me cut her hair. I wish I knew what all this meant.
This evening I had dinner with my grandpa. It was fine at first, but it turned awkward when his ex-wife came home from work. They divorced about 2 years ago, but due to lots of legal battles, still live together. Apparently, she likes to make scenes when my grandpa has guests. I’ve never really witnessed someone so mad at another person before. My grandpa just ignored her, but it made me realize that I like most of my friends and acquaintances, and hope that I never have arguments/that much resentment toward anyone. Let alone someone I married. I hope I find a husband that I don’t have to divorce. I ‘m starting to believe that I think ‘husbands’ are something you go looking in the woods for-like an obscure creature. Perhaps it’s like snipe hunting. Who knows what I’m looking for.
