There is a heart breaking innocence and sadness in this. It's bittersweet and hopeful, and it left me with a little hitch in my chest.

It's beautiful.

AWWWWWWW! I love this so much! What a great idea, and it was a lovely homage to the original without being too bound by it. I don't write much fic of this type because I never feel like I get the balance right, but you've done a lovely job of it!

He liked Zach so much that he thought there should be another word for it. Superlike!

So cute! I superlike the way you work the more-than-kissing in without breaking the childlike tone. Very skillfully done.

“Are you hungry?” he asked. “Because I made you a cake.”

OMG, I almost squealed a little at this line. And then under-the-blanket forts! This put a huuuuuuuge smile on my face!

It had just as much innocence and childlike wonder in it that the movie had; perfect
