My dream is coming true - I am going to Los Angeles! For work. BUT, I'm freaking excited anyway, and already trying to think how I can fit in everything I want to do around the 2-4 trips I'll probably be taking out there over the next year or so. I know I'm going out there the first week in December, and I'm trying to figure out if I can add an extra day (probably Dec 2) to do fun, non-work stuff.
Which brings me to my Very Important Question - does anyone on my f-list live in or near LA, or know anyone online or off who might be interested in meeting up and/or doing touristy stuff with me while I'm there? Some stuff I would be fine just doing by myself, but really other people tend to make everything more fun. I would also be up for meeting up with people in LA who don't live there, but that would probably require more planning and I would want it to be when I had more than just 1 day to do fun stuff.
