Mistborn
I really think Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy would make an excellent TV series. Allomancy-fuelled fight scenes would translate really well to the medium, I think. Steel Inquisitors would look suitably creepy. Mist, Mistwraiths, Koloss and Khandra would pose no problem with a sufficient CGI budget, nor red sunlight, ash and brown plant life. Although the last few might make it visually dull, I suppose.
I'm on the third book now, and it's one of those that I keep wanting to read, but also not, because it means it will soon be finished.
