Gil-galad and Luinil were just here. Or just, they arrived late yesterday afternoon, and we went into town and they bought me Thai dinner at Mae Yai, an then I walked them around town for a bit an then we went back to my place, where they stayed the night. They're on a week-long car holiday to Skåne. It was very nice to have them here! And Rosa was pretty cool with them, except that she slept in my bed all night, refusing to go out into the living room where the two new humans were. ^^ I think it helped that they also have a cat and know how to talk to cats. They are really lucky with the weather -- finally it's clear and sunny, albeit a bit on the cool side, but still! Summery! It was warm enough on my balcony to sit out there with a book all afternoon.
I read in the local paper that
Dråm are playing in a church in town tonight, but it was far too nice on my balcony, and I was kind of tired. And then my neighbours rang the door and gave me a whole box of Swedish strawberries, from the dog. :) So it will be strawberries-and-cream instead of concert, in the last sunlight of the evening on the balcony. :)
Rosa is sleeping on the couch next to the balcony door. She doesn't seem the least inclined to get to the other side of the balcony net, and most of the time she doesn't even seem interested to go out on the balcony itself. I've even left the door open while I'm in my bedroom, typing this. Perhaps I've conveyed to her that it's kind of dangerous... she seems very sensitive to feelings and moods. I've never had to be angry at her yet. I visited my mother yesterday, and she did nothing but complain about her misbehaved cat, that kept eating all her houseplants and ruining all her nice furniture.
I think I'm really lucky, having found Rosa. I hope she feels the same. :)
