"I hope she likes it..." Yumi said fretfully as she glanced in the mirror before answering the door. Tonight was the Yamayurikai Halloween Party and Sachiko was picking her up. Would Sachiko approve of the costume? With a sigh she opened the door and gave her oneesama a big smile. She didn't even glance at Sachiko's costume, she was too excited to be able to drive to the party with her soeur. "Oneesama! I'm so glad you're here! Do you want something-"
"Whaa...?" Sachiko's hesitating words stopped Yumi.
"Oneesama?" Yumi asked in confusion.
"Yumi-chan," Sachiko began haltingly, "You're an onigiri?"

Sachiko: Who decided to let Sei pick what we wear for this Halloween party?
I don't remember getting to vote. You don't even go to this school anymore.
Youko: You don't remember, because there was no vote. I lost a bet.
Eriko: You really need to kick that gambling addiction, some day the woman
will own your soul.
Youko: I think she won that last thursday.
Sachiko: Forget that, my face is GREEN, and I have SNAKE HAIR! Why does
Shimako get to be a bunny?
Noriko: You didn't see the rest of the outfit, you only saw the ears...
Everyone: Ara...

All Hallow's Eve, the day before All Saint's Day.
There would be solemn Masses held for the 'community of the faithful departed'. They would be then implored to pray for souls in
purgatory, pray for Maria-sama's merciful intercession, pray for reunion.
Sei did not pray. Not for the dead, anyhow.
"You have probably grown tired of waiting
For the end of the pain that you lost sight of..."
Instead, she smiled.
Someday, I'll see you again, Shiori. I won't be sad - I know you're there, living your dream. There's no need to be sad.
Just look at the rosy color...

The idea had been to transform the rose mansion into a haunted house. At
least, that was what Yumi had first proposed, and what had been accepted
right at the beginning. Yoshino, however, had gotten an even more
grandiose scheme into her head, and had used her phenomenal powers of
persuasion to convince the other Yamayurikai into accepting her idea.
Yumi had been unaware of this new development until now.
Hence the current problem.
The Yamayurikai had been so busy coordinating the decorating efforts of
all the clubs that they had completely forgotten to decorate the rose
mansion as well.
