OH MY GOSH, GUYS. I GOT IN!!! Granted, I got the letter informing of that on Friday, and the one informing me of my acceptance to the school in general on like... Tuesday, and the e-mail informing me of the latter last week Friday, BUT STILL!
I GOT INTO THE MLIS PROGRAM AT SAN JOSÉ STATE!
I am so psyched. Also, scared - this means I'm starting grad school in the spring! Scary!! The AP hasn't heard back yet from CSUSJ, since they apparently are waiting on her transcript from Humboldt for the class she took there a couple summers back. I expect her to do just as well as me, since I'm pretty sure CSUSJ was waiting on my SMC transcript before coming to a decision, since as soon as I took care of that, it was only a couple of days before I was accepted by first the grad school and then by the program. Plus, she's the AP - if anything, she's more qualified than me (the AP is scary-smart, seriously).
...of course, I find out that I got into the MLIS program I applied to the day after teacher for the graphic design class I'm in told me that I have real talent and should seriously look into a career in graphic design if it's something I enjoy. Universe, why do you mock me so?? *shakes fist*
