World Domination Status: I am queen of enchiladas! Mwahahahahah~

Right, so. I'm thinking that what I want is not so much a Master's program in graphic design as a certificate program. Because I don't really need a MA in design to do what I'm interested in doing, and a certificate program would probably be a lot easier to accomplish, particularly since a lot of the schools I've been looking at seem to expect applicants to have their Bachelor's in art or design. And have at least two quarters/a year's worth of upper division art classes (I have 20.5 lower div units in art, plus 5 units worth of lower div Art History). Though I have a lot of the basic classes covered, I know I don't have all the pre-reqs, so even if I did decide it was worth it to take all those upper div classes in order to be eligible for the programs, I'd probably have at least another year's worth of lower div classes I'd have to take first. (Let it be noted that the only school I've looked at so far that doesn't, as far as I can tell, require applicants to have a BA/BFA in art is Otis. But then, Otis also doesn't say that you have to have any sort of undergraduate degree in order to apply to their program, just $50 and a portfolio.)

At the same time, I'm seriously considering applying for the Library Science Master's program at San José Sate. Unlike the UCLA MLIS program, I've already met all the requirements - no need to take a programing class, or a stats class, or anything. And I can do the entire program online, which means I could continue living at home and working at my current job. Because, let's face it, if I wanted to go away for school, I'd not only have to deal with finding a place, finding roommates, living in a completely new place, my issues with all of those, and school, I'd also have to find a job. Because seriously, housing costs are INSANE D:

Ugh. I do not like this being an adult thing.
