World Domination Status: There are pills pills pills pills pills inside of me! So many I can't count them (two), amazing but it's true! There are pills pills pills pills pills inside of me! *bounces*
Anne and I were talking about YYH the other day and it came out that she's pretty much read/seen up to the Dark Tournament but hasn't seen any further. And hey, wow! I have the entire second half of the series on VHS! (Taped off of Hong Kong bootleg DVDs a few years back. They're pretty awesome - every time someone says "Kurama" it says "Hiei in the subtitles and vice-versa.) We then started getting all nostalgic over Halloween, '98, back in ninth grade when she and I and Jean and Mary all got together after trick-or-treating and had a Slayers marathon at my house (also YYH, since Jean had the two movies, though at that point the rest of the series was still only available via fansubs and alas, we had no connections D: ). And Anne mentioned she was going to be in town for Fourth of July weekend. And I mentioned that the APUs were going to be out of town for that weekend.
THUS THE PLAN WAS BORN.
Planned for July 5th, 2008: The 10 year anniversary anime marathon at Mandy's! Okay, so it's not really an "anniversary" since it's not on Halloween, BUT OH WELL. There will be YYH! Possibly also SlayersTRY and Movies With Gay Undertones That Jean Can't Watch At Her Parents'! Pizza! Alcohol of various sorts! I have finally picked up more coconut rum, and we still have half a flat of pineapple juice downstairs in our pseudo-pantry! Jean promises to bring vodka! Anne says she'll bring stuff to mix with it! And her drink mixing book! (Anne is official drink-mixer for our little trio, since she knows how to make more drinks. Though she makes them WAY STRONG, OMG.)
