Episode Reaction - 6x12
Okay, guys, so first of all: Hellatus is over!!!! I'm so glad we've finally got SPN back and, to celebrate, I just happen to be wearing my Winchester Bros t-shirt that I got for Christmas *winks*
Basically, I LOVED THE EPISODE. ADSJKLIFHSKHDLCSKL. I promise that what is under the cut is much more coherent (and spoiler-ish, just so you know.)
- The bit at the start with the plane...what is it with this show and putting me off flying?! First Phantom Traveller and now that. In all seriousness, I thought that was very Supernatural-like and awesome.
- Dean actually asked to be sent to the library to do research. I think that, more than anything, shows how worried he was.
- Sammy! Okay, so don't get me wrong, I actually quite liked robo!Sam - I thought he was interesting and there were some really funny and angsty things created by him and, you know, Sam is always pretty hot when he's on the more 'evil' side of the spectrum. BUT I missed Sammy and I'm glad we've got him back now. Which leads me very nicely onto:
-THE HUG. I think you all know how I feel about this ;) To sum up, we have Sam back and they're brothers again and they both hugged one another and awwwww. *loves*
-I love how happy Dean was in this episode (apart from the angsting about the wall etc.) Like, all of the jokes that he cracked and the little smile he gave when they were interviewing. And the brotherly banter just kept me grinning the whole time.
-Okay, so references: LOTR, Harry Potter and WoW. Awesome. Just awesome.
-The bit where Dean was trying to get the sword out of the stone was just really, really funny. 'You rocks think you're so smart.' XD
-The awkward not!hug with Sam and Cas...I'm not a Sassy shipper but I love Sam and Castiel as friends and this bit was so cute and awkward and I really wanted them to hug.
-The Comic Con reference was also awesome (although, would Dean even know about it? *shakes head* I'm going to forget about that and just enjoy it for what it is - awesome)
-The whole Mother-of-all thing is interesting. It looks like we have the new big bad so it'll be interesting to see where it goes (I'm not sure how it's going to link to some of the episodes that we've already had spoilers for, though - which is good, I like a surprise!)
-But yeah, it was a very season two-ish episode, I think. I just really enjoyed the whole thing (although I've enjoyed the rest of the season too so I think I'm pretty easy to please!)
