Hey guys :)
So, I guess this is probably going to be my last post of the year. 2010 has gone over so quickly! As most of you know, this year has been my first full year on lj and I've certainly written and read lots of new things this year.
Offline, I've finally got a group of friends that I feel comfortable with and that I can trust. Fair enough, there are only four of us and I'm the only girl (which can sometimes cause problems) but I have fun with them and I trust them and I know that they won't mess me around like people in the past have done.
Online, I've got all of you and I'm so privelaged to know each and every one of you. Seriously, I know that I've never met any of you but I feel like I know you guys so well and I love being friends with all of you. I honestly think that the people on my friends list are some of the most generous, supportive, inspirational people I will ever meet. So, thank you to you all for being there through the good and the bad.
I've written a lot of fic this year and I think my writing has improved a lot. Hopefully, it'll improve further next year and, hopefully, I'll manage to write something other than fanfiction, as well.
Some pretty rubbish things have happened over the last year but, for me, 2010 has been okay. Compared to previous years, my Grandad's health has been much better.
I'm determined to make the most of 2011. It's my last chance to really do well in my exams and get into a good university. I guess it's going to be pretty scary next summer when I start but it's also exciting. So, my resolutions:
-Make the most of every opportunity.
-Don't slack off when revising.
-On lj, try to be good at commenting and posting.
I guess that's it. We're not doing all that much tonight, we'll just be staying in. Grandma and Grandad are going to stay up for as long as they can but, by midnight, it'll probably just be me, my mum and my sister awake. Maybe we'll watch a film or play some scrabble or something. I hope that, whatever you guys do, you have a good time and stay safe.
